At SUN International, we conduct training courses for plumbers and technicians who wish to get trained in the jointing of PE Piping Systems. Details of the courses are listed as follows:
1- Socket Fusion of PE Pipes - Duration: 3 Days
The course primarily deals with the principles of Socket Fusion in PE Pipes of sizes 20mm to 63mm. During the course candidates are introduced with socket fusion fittings & machines, and are given hands-on training exercises on the jointing of sockets, tees, reducers, male-threaded adapters, elows, bends and crosses. The course also introduces candidates to the laying techniques of PE pipes and how to leave margin for the expansion and contraction of pipes during hot and cold whethers.
2- Butt Welding of PE Pipes - Duration: 3 Days
The course deals with the principles of Butt Welding of PE Pipes. While candidates are introduced to the jointing of large sized pipes, they are also given an insight into conversion from PE to metal piping systems and are introduced to stubs, flanged adapters, manifolds and about their applications in the mains water supply.
